Job Description
As a Lead Data at Leakmited, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven products for water network management. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines, predictive models, and analytics tools, while collaborating closely with product and development teams.Leveraging your technical expertise, you will drive innovation in data solutions, ensure high-quality outputs, and guide process improvements.
Role Objectives
- Design and manage data architecture: Oversee the creation of pipelines, predictive models, and workflow orchestration systems.
- Lead technical decisions: Make informed choices about tools and technologies to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Establish best practices: Implement standards for data management, including testing, versioning, and documentation.
- Code review: Actively participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Proactivity: Identify potential technical bottlenecks and propose solutions to prevent future issues.
- Technical debt management: Address and reduce technical debt as part of ongoing initiatives.
Expected Impact
- At least 5 years of experience in the data field, including roles in data engineering, data science, or data architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data development (TypeScript experience is a plus).
- Expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines and architectures (ETL/ELT processes, orchestration tools like dabricks, ...).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and database management.
- Understanding of Machine Learning pipelines and their deployment at scale.
- Knowledge of best practices in CI/CD, testing, and technical debt management.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers and data scientists, to deliver impactful data solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for innovation, sustainability, and problem-solving in a startup environment.
